There are so many lost people today. People of all ages, races, and stations are searching for happiness and fulfillment. And because of the day and age that we live in they've been able to try just about everything to find it: popularity, money, sex, drugs, alcohol, pornography--you name it.
It is our privilege and responsibility to help others come to know that God loves them and He wants them to know Him personally for themselves.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16 NKJV)
John 17:3 tells us, "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent."
What keeps most people from knowing God is sin. Sin separates us from God. But Jesus has already paid the price for all sin! And we are the ones that get to deliver this good news to whomever we come into contact with.
"But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him]." (2 Corinthians 5:18 AMPC)
